It’s not easy being green…just ask Kermit!

Save paper, postage and greenbacks!

When I was a boy my parents separated garbage into three areas…the compost pile, anything that burned and everything else was picked up by the “garbage man”. Now 50 years later…I’m still separating garbage but now its called being “green”!
I have an example about not being “green” that’s pretty interesting. I received two catalogs from the same company on the same day, three weeks later two more catalogs (different covers this time) and 2 weeks after that the same thing! I decided to go to their company website to read about their sustainability policy. It’s a big company and they had several pages. They talk about many positive steps being taken to be a good “green” corporate citizen.
- Recycling office paper
- Energy conservation and alternative fuel
- Renewable energy
- Green building improvements and so on
These are all good things but I ask myself the question, how about cleaning your mail list? There’s an immediate pay back because they wouldn’t need to print as many pieces, they’d save postage, there’s less waste in landfills and by the way they’d save money too! We clean mailing lists 5 – 8 % better than most others. We use Miss Piggy on Steroids software to clean our lists. I’d like to find out more about your business to see if we can help you be green…you know just like Kermit!
